Our doors opened May 2nd 2017 and we are growing quickly with a 4.7 star google rating. We are looking for dynamic, highly energetic individuals with a fearless approach to learning who are ready to transform clients and allow them to be their best selves. We are an exclusive family salon and only work with AVEDA colour, product and education. QUALIFICATIONS: * Registered with Ontario College of Trades and have a valid hair license * Possess a high school diploma or equivalency and minimum of two years of industry experience * Technical skills: hair cutting, colouring and styling knowledge is an asset * All applicants must be able to demonstrate the ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service * Ability to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends and special events * Excellent communication skills * Ability to deliver excellent client service in a fast-paced environment * Excellent team player with a passion for guest service * Pursuing a career in hair styling/colour application WHY WORK AT HAIR * High wages/hourly plus commissions, amazing staff, friendly clientele Bonus System includes: * AVEDA Education allowance of 50% of the course cost * One on one coaching with the owner who graduated from the AVEDA institute and AVEDA academy in Calgary * Advanced training to grow your skills * Travel and gain access to world class education and hair/beauty shows * Staff discounts on products and services Job Type: Full-time Salary: $16.00-$20.00 per hour, negotiable Benefits: * On-site parking * Store discount Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Weekend availability Supplemental pay types: * Bonus pay * Commission pay * Tips COVID-19 considerations: We are still wearing masks if warranted, hand sanitizing Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $16.55-$20.00 per hour Additional pay: * Bonus pay * Commission pay * Tips Benefits: * Flexible schedule * On-site parking * Store discount Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Every Weekend * Weekends as needed Ability to commute/relocate: * Southampton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: * hair styling: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationSouthampton, ON
