Are you a seasoned Project Manager with a passion for leading complex construction projects and driving results? We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our dynamic team, based out of either our Yellowknife, NT or Nanaimo, BC office. If you have a proven track record of managing large-scale projects and thrive in a leadership role, we want to hear from you! *Key Responsibilities:* *Project Leadership & Execution:* * Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure projects meet client expectations and goals. * Lead construction phases from pre-construction to final delivery, ensuring quality, safety, and financial targets are achieved. * Conduct weekly site meetings to review progress, address issues, and keep the team aligned. *Risk Management & Problem-Solving:* * Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to prevent delays or budget overruns. * Make informed, decisive decisions to keep projects on track and troubleshoot challenges as they arise. *Leadership & Team Development:* * Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence. * Provide regular feedback, performance evaluations, and support for team growth. * Act as a mentor for junior project managers, sharing expertise and promoting professional development. *Client & Stakeholder Management:* * Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and providing regular project updates. * Collaborate with stakeholders, including architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors, ensuring project alignment and smooth execution. *Budgeting, Scheduling, & Resource Management:* * Oversee project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met while maintaining cost controls. * Develop and monitor project schedules to ensure timely delivery of milestones. * Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services. *Qualifications:* * Bachelor?s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. * PMP certification or equivalent preferred. * Construction Technology Certificate or diploma required. * Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. * Experience managing large-scale projects ($50M+) in the ICI (Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional) sector. *Skills & Attributes:* * Strong leadership and mentorship abilities. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. * Critical thinking, strategic planning, and problem-solving expertise. * Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills. * High emotional intelligence and ability to navigate complex team dynamics. *Benefits:* * Competitive salary based on experience. * Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and retirement savings. * Professional development opportunities and leadership training. * Supportive work environment with a focus on mentorship and career growth.
