Come grow with us!POSITION OVERVIEW Reporting to the Director of Strategic Development, Communications & Public Engagement, the Manager of Corporate Strategy and Business Transformation plays a crucial role in aligning and cascading organizational priorities, plans, processes, and progress measures with long-term strategic objectives.This role is responsible for driving business transformation and change initiatives, optimizing service models, supporting strategic governance, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. The manager will support leaders across the organization corporate strategies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, agility, innovation, customer-centricity and accountability. The City of Maple Ridge is seeking a dynamic Manager of Corporate Strategy & Business Transformation to play a pivotal role in aligning our long-term strategic objectives with innovative business processes, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and customer centricity. What You'll Do:As the Manager of Corporate Strategy & Business Transformation, you will work closely with the Director of Strategic Development, Communications & Public Engagement to:Lead citywide strategic planning including the development of a long-term corporate strategic plan that defines the ?North Star? goals and priorities for the city, aligns with existing corporate plans, and drives the development of future strategic and master planning efforts. Drive corporate strategic and business transformation initiatives that seek to optimize service delivery models, enable innovation, and foster a culture based on agility, customer service, and cross-departmental collaboration. Champion data driven decision making by developing and managing data and analytics services, key performance metrics, OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) and reporting systems. Spearhead continuous improvement efforts, implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies. Oversee change management initiatives to advance business transformation and business agility. Support the effective operations of the City?s SPOT (Strategic Priority Oversight Teams) cross-functional teams to deliver high impact projects that deliver on the City?s OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) and advance related goals and strategic priorities. Oversee and continuously improve implementation of the City?s corporate business planning processes in alignment with City priorities. Implement tools and frameworks to maintain a high degree of alignment and coherence between strategic initiatives, departmental projects, and overall service delivery. Key Responsibilities:Lean a dynamic team of staff that deliver data/analytics and continuous improvement services, along with climate action strategic initiatives. Align and integrate corporate strategies across departments to achieve the City's goals Oversee the development of the annual corporate plan, ensuring strategic coherence across the organization. Lead and measure the success of citywide continuous improvement and change management initiatives.
