In-depth financial management expertise and a strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial practices in the Americas will be essential.</p><p></p><p><strong>Main Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Accounting and Administrative Management</span></p><ul><li>Organize all company accounting and administrative operations.</li><li>Supervise the finance and accounting department consisting of six employees.</li><li>Measure and assess the company's accounting performance and operations.</li></ul><p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Financial Reporting and Monitoring</span></p><ul><li>Produce monthly account books and conduct regular analyses.</li><li>Prepare monthly internal financial reports and provide monthly and occasional bank statements for financial partners.</li><li>Verify quarterly reports, records, and periodic entries.</li></ul><p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Cash Management and Financial Risks</span></p><ul><li>Assess operational and financial risks and implement risk management strategies in all currencies.</li><li>Manage financial tools such as foreign exchange contracts and letters of credit.</li><li>Review and maximize working capital management based on liquid asset needs.</li></ul><p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Control and Verification</span></p><ul><li>Control and perform an auxiliary consolidation of account closings.</li><li>Post entries and balance the general ledger and auxiliary consolidation.</li><li>Supervise GST/QST management and the credit verification process.</li><li>Ensure records are continuously updated for verification, similar to year-end but performed monthly for optimized decision-making.</li></ul><p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Tools and KPIs</span></p><ul><li>Develop and optimize measurement tools, KPIs, and provide information for decision-making.</li><li>Manage the operational planning process (budget and forecasts).</li></ul><p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Miscellaneous Duties</span></p><ul><li>Perform any other essential duties to efficiently maintain the accounting department.</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Position Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li>Full support for immigration and relocation.</li><li>Attractive compensation with annual bonuses to reward your efforts and performance.</li><li>Flexible schedule, with the possibility to work Monday to Thursday, enabling you to enjoy long weekends.</li><li>Comprehensive group insurance including medical expenses and a dental plan, available after only three months.</li><li>Generous retirement plan, with employer RRSP contributions to secure your financial future.</li><li>State-of-the-art work environment, fully automated, offering an innovative and modern framework.</li></ul> <br> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>University degree in Accounting (CPA designation is a plus).</li><li>At least 3 years of experience as a controller, or ideally a former certified accountant.</li><li>Mastery of accounting software (Accpac, Simply Accounting) and MS Office suite.</li><li>Excellent understanding of financial statements and the ability to manage debits and credits are required.
