Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting: Construction. Various locations. Renovation. Residential. Tasks: Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems. Supervise other workers. Equipment and machinery experience: Hand tools. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling. Handling heavy loads. Work with minimal supervision. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Do you currently reside in proximity to the advertised location?.
