What we offer: - The opportunity to work for a company with complex and innovative projects- A respectful work environment where teams help each other to complete projects- A multidisciplinary team where collective intelligence is developed and enriched every day- Flexibility and openness- A dynamic social committee- Telecommuting policy- Ongoing training Main tasks and mandates: - Responsible for month-end accounting close activities including preparation of journal entries and reconciliations and submission of the standard trial balance to yield timely and accurate financial information- Perform financial analysis on drivers of business performance, including productivity, inflation, and cash flow- Serve as a well-respected business partner and financial resource, with frequent partnership with manufacturing, supply chain management, project management, sales, and IT- Support Controller with submission of forecasts, annual operating plans, and other deliverables and ad hoc analyses- Accountable for intercompany accounting including settlement of intercompany receivables and payables- Support the controller to ensure the integrity of all data reported and compliance with all controls and accounting policies- Establish the necessary securities for all new orders- Determine and communicate payment terms for new orders- Produce monthly government tax reports - Act as a resource person for the accounting team- Process weekly payroll- Partner with business leaders to identify and implement projects to improve business processes and controls- Involvement in special accounting-related projects General skills and requirements: - Bachelor?s Degree in accounting- 5+ years of relevant accounting experience including general ledger and payroll.- Proficient with utilizing technology, such as Windows, Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Power BI, Excel - VLookup, XLookup, Pivot tables, Sumif, IF, etc.) and Sage300- Maintain high level of attention to detail, prioritization, and multi-task in faced-paced environment- Audit experience preferred, SOX, etc.- Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills- Ability to work in a multi-currency environment- Bilingualism (French and English), both oral and written- Knowledge of the construction and manufacturing industry (an asset) We appreciate your interest in our company.
