*Overview* Cayman Mechanical Company Ltd (CMC) seeks an experienced *Journeyman Plumber* with *5+ years of experience* in residential, commercial, and institutional plumbing. As a Journeyman Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems on Commercial and Residential Buildings. With a solid background in the field, you will ensure all work meets code and safety standards while working independently or as part of a team. Organizational skills and attention to safety are essential in this role. This position is located in the Cayman Islands, and successful candidates must be willing to relocate. *Responsibilities* * -Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems according to project specifications and blueprints * -Ensure plumbing work complies with local plumbing codes and regulations * -Collaborate with other trades and project supervisors to complete tasks efficiently * -Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues on-site * -Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment * -Prepare material lists and manage tools and equipment * -Attend safety meetings and follow site-specific safety guidelines * *Requirements* * -Minimum 5 years of experience as a Licensed Journeyman Plumber * -Strong technical plumbing skills and ability to read blueprints * -Good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities * -Focus on safety and compliance with regulations * -Ability to work independently and as part of a team * *Compensation & Benefits:* * -Competitive wage: *CAD $36 - $41 per hour*, based on qualifications and experience * -Statutory benefits * -Comprehensive health care coverage (including dental & vision) * -Vacation and pension plan * -No income tax: employees will not pay local income taxes * *How to Apply:* Submit your resume to: *hr@caymanmechanical.com* Job Type: Full-time Pay: $36.00-$41.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Paid time off * Vision care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Application question(s): * Are you open to relocating to the Cayman Islands for this position?
