If you're ready to be part of something extraordinary, we want to hear from you! *What?s the role?* As an Electrical Automation Engineer, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. You'll bring your expertise to integrate innovative technologies, optimize systems and costs, and lead our plant to new heights. You will work closely with our production, maintenance, and quality assurance teams, driving continuous improvement and excellence. *What You'll Do?* · _Be a Safety Champion_: Lead by example to create a culture of safety and compliance. · _Innovate and Automate_: Develop and document cutting-edge process algorithms in PLCs and HMIs. · _Hands-On Equipment Oversight_: Oversee the installation and testing of our state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment. · _Project Management Rockstar_: Help develop and review contractor plans, ensuring every detail is perfect. Lead projects and contractors to successful outcomes. · _Maintenance Guru_: Create and refine maintenance procedures to keep everything running smoothly. · _System Wizardry_: Establish and maintain our electrical control equipment and instrument management systems. · _Technical Troubleshooter_: Provide top-notch technical support and lead root cause analysis to solve any issues. · _Cross-Functional Collaborator_: Work with various departments to ensure equipment effectiveness and reliability. · _Energy Efficiency Expert_: Drive energy cost and efficiency improvements across our operations. · _Data-Driven Improver_: Monitor and enhance manufacturing processes through data analysis. · _Jack of All Trades_: Be ready to take on any additional duties that come your way! *What You Bring?* · _Education_: A bachelor?s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited university. · _Experience_: 7+ years thriving in a manufacturing environment, with hands-on experience in electrical equipment and instrumentation. · _Skills_: § Programming Pro: You can program PLCs with ease, and are comfortable with different HMIs. § Power Distribution Whiz: Knowledge of transformers, switchgear, UPS, lighting. § Instrumentation Genius § Equipment Connoisseur: Experience with understanding of VFDs, valves, pumps, robots, conveyors nice to have § Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with bonus points for ERP and CMMS system experience. · _Attributes_: § People Person: Superb interpersonal skills that make teamwork a breeze. § Team Player: A collaborative attitude that gets things done. § Learning Ability: Like to learn things outside you comfort zone and pick it up quickly. § Sound Judgment: You make decisions like a pro. § Time Management Guru: Juggling tasks and priorities is your superpower. *Why Canada Royal Milk?* Canada Royal Milk balances innovation and traditional values, with commitments to quality, sustainability, excellence, continuous learning and career development. Most of the work occurs during regular weekday office hours.
