Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Body Technician to join our team. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition. This is a full-time position in our dealership's automotive repair department. Duties: - Perform body repairs and refinishing on vehicles according to manufacturer specifications - Remove damaged panels, weld or bond replacement panels, and align body components - Repair dents, scratches, and other cosmetic damage - Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and priming - Mix paint colors to match vehicle specifications - Apply paint using spray guns and ensure a smooth finish - Inspect repaired vehicles for quality and accuracy - Document all repairs and maintain accurate records Experience: - Previous experience as an Auto Body Technician or in a similar role - Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive repair techniques - Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for body repair work - Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required Skills: - Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship - Strong problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team - Good communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues If you are a skilled Auto Body Technician looking for a challenging opportunity in the automotive industry, we would love to hear from you.
