Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Independent consulting. Consulting firm. Private sector. Tasks: Supervise other graphic designers or graphic arts technicians. Adapt existing illustrations. Consult with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations in order to meet their communications needs. Work in a multidisciplinary environment. Co-ordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual or electronic materials. Co-ordinate sub-contracting. Consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements and content of communications materials. Develop the graphic elements that meet the clients' objectives. Copywrite. Process files and paperwork. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year. Support for newcomers and refugees: Assists with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: housing, transportation, storage, childcare, winter clothing, etc.). Supports social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: facilitating access to community resources, language training, skills training, etc.). Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition. Offers mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees . Support for Indigenous people: Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers . Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses and organizations .- LocationYork, ON
