*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. *Responsibilities* * Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages. * Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. * Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. * Assist in the diagnosis of oral diseases by examining patients? gums and teeth. * Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate records using Dentrix software. * Provide support to the dentist during procedures by preparing instruments and materials. * Manage patient scheduling and follow-up appointments to ensure continuity of care. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with infection control protocols. *Skills* * Proficient in medical terminology relevant to dentistry. * Experience in dental assisting is preferred but not required. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff. * Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as this will enhance patient interactions. * Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental office management software is advantageous. * Knowledge or experience in pediatrics or orthodontics is a plus, contributing to a well-rounded skill set in diverse patient care scenarios.
