Retallack Lodge is a world class Cat Skiing/Boarding destination located in the heart of the Selkirk Mountains. Located close to the towns of Nelson, Kaslo, and New Denver, BC - Retallack boasts a beautiful 10,000 sq/ft timber frame lodge that hosts 24 clients at a time. We are looking for vibrant people-person oriented candidates who have a love and passion for the outdoors. As a bartender, your responsibility would be to ensure that our guests have an incredible stay with us. You are expected to assist in all the inside lodge operations to solidify a first class guest experience. Our clients love to meet and interact with our team and we see great value in confident people. We expect a depth of classic cocktail knowledge and attention to detail. Additionally you are responsible for creating and sharing speciality cocktails each evening to heighten the overall experience. *Responsibilities* Work with the Food & Beverage department to deliver appropriate guest services as required. Keep the bar and service area of the Lodge clean and well-maintained as per the duties outlined on the lodge check list. Keep track of all bar supplies and proactively supply lists to the manager. Professionally conduct meal service in coordination with Kitchen and Manager. Manage Outdoor operations communications when the clients are on the mountain. Perform outdoor lodge duties as per checklist to ensure hang out zones are prepared. Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour Additional pay: * Tips Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 10 hour shift Ability to commute/relocate: * Nelson, BC V1L 4H1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: * Bartending: 2 years (preferred) Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2024-12-01- LocationNelson, BC
