*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various carpentry tasks, including installation and assembly of structures, drywall, and siding. This role requires proficiency with hand and power tools, as well as the ability to perform heavy lifting. The Carpenter will work on diverse projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards. *Responsibilities* * Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. * Perform drywall installation and finishing tasks to create smooth surfaces. * Install siding and roofing materials with precision and attention to detail. * Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various carpentry tasks. * Assemble furniture or fixtures according to specifications. * Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently. * Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times. * Follow blueprints, sketches, or building plans to meet project requirements. *Requirements* * Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in construction or woodworking. * Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods including drywall installation, siding application, and roofing. * Proficiency in using hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels) and power tools (drills, nail guns). * Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties. * Familiarity with CNC machinery is a plus but not required. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. * Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues.
