Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Outdoors. Underground. Dusty. Work setting: Various locations. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Help medical examiner in charge. Pave and rake asphalt. Clean and pile salvaged materials. Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction. Direct traffic at or near construction sites. Equipment and machinery experience: Bobcats. Reciprocating saws. Circular saws. Concrete saws. Drills. Sledgehammer. Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Physically demanding. Tight deadlines. Manual dexterity. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Weight handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Client focus.
