\* Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various carpentry tasks , working both in a team and independently. A strong work ethic and a high attention to detail/accuracy. \* Duties - Framing, Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic or drywall. - Install structures and fixtures such as windows, molding, cabinets, doors, and hardware. - Construct building frameworks including walls, floors, and door frames. - Cut and install metal roofing, vinyl siding, soffit, facia and evestroughs. - Cut and install tile and waterproofing. - Frame and install decking. - Perform repairs or maintenance as needed. - Work with hand tools and power tools to complete projects. - Ensure accuracy and quality of workmanship. \*Experience Minimum 4- 5 years carpentry experience. \* Requirements - Must have reliable transportation to get to the job sites, mandatory safety tickets (up to date Working from heights, WHMIS, 4 steps to safety), safety boots, comfortable working from heights. \*Nice-to-Have Skills: - Competence in interior and exterior home renovations. - Proficiency in using hand/power tools for carpentry projects. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 ? 44 per week Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Monday to Friday Education: * Secondary School (preferred) Experience: * carpentry: 4 years (preferred) Language: * English (required) Licence/Certification: * Driving Licence (required) Work Location: On the road- LocationCobourg, ON
