We are looking for a <strong>Shipper/Receiver/Repair Centre Technician</strong> for our repair center in Montreal (Anjou). Chesterton is a leading international <strong>manufacturer</strong> of industrial fluid sealing systems, high performance protective coatings and specialized industrial maintenance products is seeking a new Shipper/Receiver/Repair Centre Technician for its Montreal center.<br><br>As a Shipper/Receiver/Repair Centre Technician, you will work under the supervision of our Eastern Canada Service Center Director.<br><br><strong>Your mandate will be, among other things:</strong><strong><br></strong><ul><li>Perform diverse shipping / receiving activities and maintain the inventory count.</li><li>Set up and operate simple machines, i.e. sandblasters and polishing tools.</li><li>Use various hand and power tools, i.e. drill press.</li><li>Perform simple in-process quality control functions based on established engineering standards.</li><li>Operate a CNC for cutting gaskets. (Training provided)</li><li>Perform simple production tasks, cut packing braids and assemble kits.</li><li>May carry out work tasks with instructions, if necessary.</li><li>Perform other manufacturing floor functions, i.e. Assemble skids and wooden crates.</li><li>Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.<strong><br></strong></li></ul><br><strong>A.W.
