A successful and mature *Registered Optician* at Optical Thirty 8 should expect a monthly salary of *$5200-$7000* (Student Opticians *$4000-$5700*); thanks to a competitive commission program. The ideal candidate will: * have previous optical retail and/or luxury retail experience or relevant optical industry experience; * be able to work non-traditional business hours including evenings & weekends; * have a yearning to hit sales targets, hungry for ambition and self-improvement; * have excellent communication skills, preferably fluent in English and another language (e.g. Cantonese, Farsi, Mandarin, Hindi, Tamil, Tagalog); * have the ability to prioritise while handling multiple tasks; * have the ability to work with a diverse client base and work in a fast-paced, changing environment; * naturally enjoy being social and friendly with people; * loves to smile! Responsibilities include: * Quality-checking glasses, dispensing eyewear, trouble-shooting, contact lens fitting; * Guiding customers in finding fashionable and functional eyewear; * Delivering 150% humble customer service that exceeds an average customer's expectations in any shopping experience.
