*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Dietitian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert nutritional advice and support to clients, ensuring they achieve their health and wellness goals. This role requires a strong foundation in dietary principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.
*Responsibilities*
* Assess clients' nutritional needs and develop personalized meal plans based on their health goals and medical conditions.
* Provide education on nutrition, healthy eating habits, and lifestyle changes to individuals and groups.
* Monitor client progress and adjust meal plans as necessary to ensure optimal health outcomes.
* Maintain accurate records of client interactions using electronic medical records systems.
* Collaborate with healthcare providers to integrate nutrition into overall patient care plans.
* Offer exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
* Stay updated on the latest nutrition research and trends to provide evidence-based recommendations.
*Experience*
* A degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field is required.
* Previous experience working as a Dietitian or in a similar role is preferred.
* Proficiency in electronic medical records is essential for maintaining client documentation.
* Strong computer operation skills are necessary for data entry and record management.
* Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as this will enhance communication with diverse client populations.
* Excellent customer service skills are crucial for building rapport with clients and ensuring their satisfaction with services provided.
Licence/Certification:
* Membership as a Member of College of Dietitians of Ontario (required)
