A local family run business located in Prince Edward County, Ontario. Specializing in agricultural processing is looking for an Accounting position to join their team. *Essential Job Functions* An ideal candidate must have a friendly and approachable demeanour. Must have accounting experience. Ability to work well within a team environment but also be self-motivated enough to perform capably on their own. Eagerness and the ability to learn new tasks are important to the success and future growth of the organization. Daily functions include: - accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, inventory - month end and financial reporting for the company - payroll - data entry - other office tasks *Requirements* - Accounting education and experience - Have a friendly and ready to learn attitude. - Strong written and verbal communication with a high attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to work independently or with a team. - administrative practices, processes and procedures - Excellent Computers skills. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products: Excel, Word, etc. - Excellent time management skills. - Background in Agriculture is an asset. - Has reliable transportation to and from work. *Education* - Minimum of a Post Secondary Diploma in either Finance, Accounting or Business Administration Preferred Job Type: Full-time Expected hours: 35 ? 44 per week Benefits: * Company car * Dental care * Disability insurance * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * RRSP match * Store discount Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Monday to Friday Experience: * Accounting: 2 years (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationPrince Edward, ON
