<p><strong>The Opportunity</strong></p> <p>Responsible for overseeing production of a designated area, while assisting in the daily planning. This role will require 20% daily capacity of leadership functions.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>The Role</strong></p> <ul> <li>The primary point of contact for the assigned area, liaise and provide guidance with Production team.</li> <li>Identify capacity requirements and effectively resource plan.</li> <li>Ensure that daily team meetings are being performed with feedback to management on safety, production, quality and maintenance issues.</li> <li>Review requisitions and forward to Purchasing.</li> <li>Support training of new employees.</li> <li>Daily review of time sheets to ensure proper coding and job allocation.</li> <li>Support implementation of Lean Manufacturing initiatives.</li> <li>Accountable for budget performance.</li> <li>Actively participate in kick off meetings.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>The Candidate</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Education: </strong>High School diploma</li> <li><strong>Work Experience: </strong>5 years of production environment</li> <li><strong>Knowledge: </strong>Excellent communication skills, preferably knowledge of Lean Manufacturing. Electro-mechanical experience.
