Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.). Assign sales workers to duties. Authorize payments by cheque. Authorize return of merchandise. Establish work schedules. Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters. Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages. Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers. Conduct performance reviews. Supervise office and volunteer staff. Provide customer service. Complete sales transactions. Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Attention to detail. Standing for extended periods. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills.
