We still make the trailers we?re known for, but we have expanded our product lineup to help meet the growing demand for energy in North America.
*THE ROLE*
Work within a team environment to facilitate profitable growth through the management of materials, information and procurement of goods and services. This role is pivotal in managing supplier partnerships, ensuring compliance with procurement processes, and driving strategic supply chain initiatives aligned with the company's evolving needs. You will be responsible for leading, coaching and developing the supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This role is responsible for optimizing inventory levels, reducing costs, and improving the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain while maintaining high quality standards.
*RESPONSIBILTIIES*
* Execute and refine a robust supply chain strategy that aligns with TYCROP Trailer strategic business goals and objectives.
* *Supplier management*: identify and cultivate global supplier relationships with suppliers located across North America, developing and reporting on key performance indicators and metrics of supplier performance
* *Cost management:* develop cost reduction strategies and initiatives to improve the overall cost management of the supply chain.
* *Risk management:* identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain; develop contingency plans for disruption in the supply for critical components and suppliers. Monitor changes affecting supply and demand, tracking market conditions, price trends, or futures markets.
* *People management:* Lead and mentor the supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth
* *Contract management:* Negotiate, or renegotiate, and administer contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives. Further, evaluate and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to determine need for changes.
* *Inventory management:* Monitor and optimize inventory levels to balance supply and demand, reduce excessive inventory, while minimize stockouts.
* *Procurement management:* Manage the procurement process, including supplier selection, contract negotiations, and relationship management to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials at competitive prices.
* Collaborate with engineering, production, parts sales, and production control to ensure that production schedules are met and that the raw materials and components are available when needed
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards and company policies.
*QUALIFICATIONS*
* Bachelor?s degree in business, Engineering Supply Chain Management, or similar
* Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in strategic sourcing and procurement management within the manufacturing or automotive industry, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role
* Proven experience in strategic sourcing and procurement management within the manufacturing or automotive industry
* A track record of achieving cost savings.
* In-depth knowledge of supply chain management, contract law, and industry regulations.
* Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in data analytics tools.
