Oakville, ON.</p><p><strong>Su</strong><strong>mm</strong><strong>ar</strong><strong>y</strong><strong>:</strong></p><p>We are looking for a <strong>Material Handler</strong> to help organize our storage areas and maintain our inventory.</p><p> </p><p>Your job will be to prepare and fulfil orders fast and correctly so we can provide high-quality customer service.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>T</strong><strong>he primary responsibilities and duties include; but are not limited to:</strong></p><p> </p><p>• Check incoming deliveries to make sure all ordered material meets quality standards and PO quantities.</p><p>• Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment.</p><p>• Perform other material handling activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing and unpacking.</p><p>• Operate equipment to transport materials to and from transportation vehicles and loading docks and to store and retrieve materials in warehouses.</p><p>• Organize stock in the most efficient way using forklifts, pallets, cranes etc.</p><p>• Pull material to fulfill orders properly as requested by production.</p><p>• Pick orders and load them on trucks for delivery.</p><p>• Provide sufficient materials to areas to meet production requirements.</p><p>• Document orders, materials and any stock movements.</p><p>• Track inventory levels and make recommendations for purchases when supply is low.</p><p>• Responsible for cycle counts</p><p>• Maintaining inventory levels in the yard</p><p>• Store materials in appropriate areas.</p><p>• Report all inventory related issues to the Warehouse & Inventory Manager</p><p>• Comply with health and safety policies.</p><p>• Support production needs daily.</p><p>• Work collaboratively with other team members and leadership.</p><p>• May perform other activities, such as opening containers and crates, filling warehouse orders, assisting in taking inventory and weighing and checking materials.</p><p>• Additional responsibilities and duties as assigned.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>R</strong><strong>e</strong><strong>qu</strong><strong>i</strong><strong>re</strong><strong>m</strong><strong>e</strong><strong>n</strong><strong>t</strong><strong>s / Qualifications: </strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>A</strong><strong>cademic Training:</strong></p><p> </p><p>• High school diploma or equivalent</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Work Experience:</strong></p><p> </p><p>• Proven experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate or similar position</p><p>• Familiarity with picking systems or RF devices is a plus.</p><p>• PC Experience</p><p>• Experience in using warehouse equipment (e.g. forklifts, pallet jacks)</p><p>• License to operate forklifts / reach truck is an asset and preferred.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Specific Competencies:</strong></p><p> </p><p>• Product Knowledge and the ability to differentiate between products.</p><p>• Work in professional manner.</p><p>• Ability to work with limited supervision.</p><p>• Ability to work efficiently and in an organized manner.</p><p>• Strong communication skills (e
