*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will oversee daily food service operations, ensuring that high standards of food quality and customer service are maintained. You will be responsible for managing staff, coordinating food preparation, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations within a fast-paced environment. *Duties* * Supervise daily food service activities, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to quality standards. * Train, mentor, and manage team members to enhance their skills in food preparation and customer service. * Oversee food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. * Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock to minimize waste. * Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and presentation. * Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to food service promptly. * Maintain cleanliness and organization in the food service area, adhering to sanitation guidelines. *Skills* * Proven experience in the food service industry, preferably in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hotel setting. * Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations. * Proficiency in operating POS systems for efficient transaction processing. * Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively. * Experience in food preparation techniques and cooking methods. * Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and service. * Exceptional communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
