We want you to succeed and we work closely and collaboratively with you to make it happen. *Who Are We Looking For?* We are hiring enthusiastic and attentive part-time key holder sales associates for our Bayshore Shopping Centre store in Ottawa. If so, joining the Made in Canada Gifts team may be the perfect fit for you! _Key Responsibilities_ * Responsible for the daily operation of a busy retail store in a major shopping mall * Attend to customers with enthusiasm, maturity, and strong product knowledge * Conduct sales transactions using a computerized point-of-sale system * Maintain and enhance in-store product merchandising * Work as a team with store management and other employees * Ensure accuracy in all cash transactions, inventory counts, and store procedures * Maintain appearance of store, including cleaning of display shelving and floors _Requirements_ * Post-secondary education (or partial) is preferred. Students are welcome. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Knowledge and/or strong interest in Canadian artisanal products * Experience in a professional retail environment. * Availability to work 2 to 4 shifts per week Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Pay: $17.50 per hour Expected hours: 15 ? 25 per week Benefits: * On-site parking * Store discount Work days: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Application question(s): * Why do you feel you would be a good fit for this position?
