*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent care for animals in our facility, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. This role requires a strong commitment to animal welfare and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. *Duties* * Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising. * Maintain cleanliness of kennels, play areas, and other facilities. * Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to management. * Assist with customer service by greeting pet owners and addressing their inquiries. * Handle heavy lifting as needed when moving animals or cleaning supplies. * Ensure all safety protocols are followed to protect both animals and staff. * Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to animal care. *Experience* * Previous experience in animal care or a related field is preferred but not required. * Strong customer service skills are essential for interacting with pet owners effectively. * Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently. * A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being is crucial.
