Our team of Supply Chain and Logistics experts speaks your language and operates in your world.</p><p>We are looking for a Logistics Director for our customer in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. <br> <br>Key Responsibilities : <br> <br>- Develop and implement the company's logistics strategy. <br>- Manage storage, transportation, and distribution operations. <br>- Supervise a logistics team of 20 employees, fostering their professional development and engagement. <br>- Lead continuous improvement projects, including the deployment of new racking systems and optimization of workflows. <br>- Oversee transportation operations, including negotiating rates with service providers and evaluating logistics performance. <br>- Ensure compliance and management of customs documentation for international shipments. <br>- Identify and implement innovative solutions to optimize logistics costs and enhance service quality. <br>- Collaborate with suppliers and partners to improve processes and ensure an efficient supply chain.</p><p>Candidate Profile: <br> <br>- Degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field. <br>- Significant experience (minimum 5 years) in a similar role, ideally within manufacturing or distribution. <br>- Strong management and leadership skills. <br>- Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions. <br>- Proficiency in logistics management tools and software. <br>- Team-oriented, organized, and excellent communication skills.</p>- LocationSaint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, QC
