Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Noisy. Odours. Wet/damp. Hot. Work setting: Fast food outlet or concession. Tasks: Establish methods to meet work schedules. Requisition food and kitchen supplies. Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food. Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures. Hire food service staff. Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards. Prepare budget and cost estimates. Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage. Prepare food order summaries for chef. Supervision: 5-10 people. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Standing for extended periods. Attention to detail. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?.
