We are currently looking for a skilled and dedicated individual to grow our team and ensure that Dias is a great place to work.
We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the assembly, testing and repairing of prototype and production geophysical instruments.
*Responsibilities:*
* Assemble and test prototype electronic PCBs
* Assemble and test prototype instruments (including wiring, mechanical assembly etc.)
* Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with electronic systems and equipment
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of all repair and maintenance activities
* Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed
*Requirements:*
* Diploma or higher in electronics or a related field
* 2 - 5 years experience as an Electronics Technician
* Experience with electronics assembly (hand soldering and reflow surface mount PCBA, as well as through-hole assembly)
* Strong knowledge of electronic principles and troubleshooting techniques
* Proficiency with electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.
* Ability to read and understand schematics and technical drawings
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Experience with the design and development of electronic systems and equipment
