*Title* Custodian *Profile* Hourly *Department* Maintenance *Reports To* Maintenance Manger *Position Summary: * Custodians are responsible to perform cleaning duties to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in the Public and employee spaces of our property. *Compensation:* Stoney Nakoda Resort & Casino offers competetive wages along with participation in a gratuity pool for custodians *Key Accountabilities:* ·Cleans all areas of the property as assigned ·Services, cleans and supplies all restrooms ·Cleans and polishes furniture, fixtures and equipment ·Cleans windows and glass ·Steam cleans and shampoos carpets ·Assist with light snow removal at entrances ·Gathers and empties trash ·Responds to requests for cleaning services from management ·Manages other initiatives or duties as required *Education and Qualification Requirements* ·Grade 9 education or suitable combination of education and experience ·Good communication skills; both written and verbal ·Minimum 6 months work experience ·First Nations experience an asset ·Other languages an asset ·ASIP. WHMIS and First Aid an asset ·Criminal Record Clearance mandatory *Work Environment Considerations* · Regular work environment, non-traditional work hours, Standing for long periods of time, carrying, lifting, bending and stretching *Special Working Conditions* The Company is committed to sound internal control policies and practices.
