Assignment: Full-time 1.0 FTETemporary Educational Assistant position Duties to commence November 4, 2024 and will continue until December 20, 2024Possibility of extending beyond December 20, 2024 To provide support and assistance to students in aclassroom setting, small group and individualized settings Qualifications and/or Assets: Experience working with Junior High students in a one-on-one and small group setting Ability to formulate strong and healthy relationships with students Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills Ability to work with multiple students to support learning Ability to work collaboratively with all staff to ensure the best possible educational experience Experience working with service providers would be considered an asset Strong interpersonal skills and a positive personality Calm and patient approach to solving problems Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-oriented learning environment Ability to work one on one with a student in an inclusive environment Experience and/or training as an Educational Assistant Application: *Applications for this employment opportunity are preferred via email.
