Assignment: Part-time 0.80 FTE Educational Assistant position in the Pre-Kindergarten program Duties to commence as soon as possible and will continue for the remainder of the 2024/2025 school year Working with Pre-Kindergarten students in an individual and classroom settingMonday - Thursday with the occasional Friday Qualifications and/or Assets: Experience working with Pre-Kindergarten aged children would be considered an asset Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills Background and/or experience with academic, speech and language, or behavioral needs would be considered an asset Ability to work one on one with a student in an inclusive environment Strong interpersonal skills and a positive personality Flexibility to work in a variety of programs Willingness to work in a team-orientated learning environment Ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion and patience Experience and/or training as an Educational Assistant would be considered an asset Application: *Applications for this employment opportunity are preferred via email.
