Experienced Sandblaster *1. About Us;* · At Walser Contracting, we specialize in Concrete Cutting Services in Edmonton & Western Canada. Our people are experts who not only have the tools to finish the job but are also knowledgeable and have extensive experience completing large scale infrastructure projects. · Walser Contracting Ltd was founded in 2007 · Your own transportation is needed as we are not on any bus routes, our main office is located in Spruce Grove, AB., but our sites are all over Edmonton and Western Canada · https://walsercontracting.ca/ *2. Job Description;* · Experienced Sandblaster duties will include but not limited to operation of high-pressure equipment. - The Sandblaster controls pressure and direction of the abrasive material to prevent surface damage and injury to co workers. · Must have valid drivers licence and reliable vehicle · Loading and unloading of equipment · Cleaning of equipment and sites · Must be physically fit and able to lift to 50 lbs · Hours are based on a 10-hour day *3. Requirements / Preferred Qualifications* · Own transportation as there is no bus service · Must pass pre-employment testing including drug and alcohol testing · Walser has a zero tolerance to drugs and alcohol · Valid drivers license · CSTS2020 · 2+ years experience in sandblasting · Standard First Aid, Fall Protection and Elevated Work Platform tickets an asset. *4.
