DescriptionBachelor degree in urban planning or a related discipline 2 years of progressively responsible experience in urban planning/municipal planning settings Assets: Membership or eligibility for membership in Alberta Professional Planners Institute (APPI) and the Canadian Institute of Planners (CIP) Masters degree in a related discipline Skills required for success: Broad range of demonstrated experience managing projects and/or applications that are complex, sensitive, and reflective of best planning practice Knowledge of public engagement practices and processes Knowledge of planning principles and practices related to land use planning, land development, plan-making, urban development, development approvals and public engagement Applied knowledge of land use regulations, zoning bylaws, the Municipal Government Act, and/or subdivision regulations is required Demonstrated ability to understand and read development permit applications,- LocationEdmonton, AB
