Our team of Supply Chain and Logistics experts speaks your language and operates in your world.</p><p>I am currently recruiting for a Buyer/Logistics Coordinator for one of my clients, a manufacturing company in the field of electric transport located in Drummondville. <br> <br>Job description: <br> <br>- Issue purchase orders and ensure follow-up until receipt of goods. <br>- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers to obtain the best terms of cooperation. <br>- Plan and coordinate the transport of goods in response to after-sales requests. <br>- Monitor stocks and their availability to avoid shortages. <br>- Manage any disputes with carriers and suppliers, and implement corrective actions. <br>- Analyze purchasing and logistics data to identify opportunities for improvement (cost reduction, process optimization). <br>- Manage non-conformity returns with suppliers in collaboration with the Quality department. <br>- Any other related tasks to support the Procurement Department</p><p>Qualifications required: <br> <br>- DEC or AEC in purchasing or procurement or relevant experience <br>- 5 years' experience in procurement in the manufacturing sector <br>- Excellent knowledge of ERP systems (MRP module and inventory management) <br>- Excellent knowledge of MS Office 365 suite <br>- Excellent knowledge of Excel <br>- Bilingualism essential (French, English) to communicate with our English-speaking suppliers. <br>- Knowledge of supplier markets <br>- Knowledge of logistics management techniques <br>- Demonstrate autonomy and initiative <br>- Negotiation skills <br>- Good analytical and summarizing skills</p>- LocationDrummondville, QC
