Amix Steel and Surplus is seeking a successful inside sales associate join the team. Located in Chilliwack BC, Amix Steel and Surplus is a wholesale steel supplier to the construction, mining and fabrication sector. Servicing customers across Western Canada, Amix Steel and Surplus prides itself on quality products, great customer service and the ability to find the product you need at a competitive price. *Job Summary* Amix Steel has an opening for a motivated team player who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment. The ideal candidate would have industrial sales experience. As an inside sales representative for Amix steel, you will be responsible for aiding the general public, managing industrial accounts and collaborating with vendors. This is a fantastic opportunity to advance your career in sales while assisting customers in achieving success through our products and services. *Job Responsibilities* The Inside Sales Associate will be responsible for: * Develop new and maintain current client relationships * Assisting walk-in clientele * Completing the order process which includes: offering pricing, sourcing additional products and generating sales order * Respond to customer requests and inquiries in a timely manner * Create and maintain customer records accurately and regularly * Assess and review customer needs and resources in order to be able to recommend appropriate goods or services * Achieving sales targets and objectives as set out by Management by promoting and or upselling products and services. * Work with sales team members in a collaborative environment This list is not inclusive and there may be additional duties requested from time to time. *Knowledge, Skills and Abilities* * High school diploma * Must be legally entitled to work in Canada * Minimum of two (2) years of experience in sales or industry experience * Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office and Window * Excellent organizational and time management skills * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Strong attention to detail * Ability to work under pressure. * Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
