The YRDSB implemented Working From Home Guidelines to facilitate this work option. Please note, this does not apply for school based positions. <p>Responsible for coordination of projects with a team of developers to implement the design, development and deployment of multimedia resources including planning for and working with the team in compliance with Board policies and procedures.<p>MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: <p><p> Act as a member of the Design and Production team to coordinate human and technical resources to meet system needs.<p> Work with other Project Leads to coordinate staff production schedules, monitor and review project milestones within design and production.<p> Provide training and support for Design and Production Team members and content developers that is responsive to system needs.<p> <p> Coordinate and support the creative development, deployment and maintenance of on-line/web-based resources using current and emerging web development tools.<p> <p> <p> <p> Produce and develop video, photos, graphic arts, and other media through operation of videography and photography equipment.<p> <p> Provide post-production for media content using various media creation software.<p> <p> Support the coordination of multimedia and production for special events and Board conference<p> To provide leadership in the field when engaged in projects.<p> Maintain appropriate records for tracking projects from initial design through to production completion and delivery.<p> Evaluate and select new and replacement technologies.<p> Diagnose and maintain specialized computer hardware and software in consultation with Information Technology Services.<p> <p> Research industry trends and developments in order to anticipate client needs and make recommendations to produce resources for system support and development.<p> <p> <p> <p> To perform other duties as assigned.<p> <p> <p><p>LINE OF RESPONSIBILITY: <p>Responsible to the Associate Manager, Corporate Communications.<p>EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: <p><p> A three-year college diploma in media studies or a related discipline is required, or equivalent, as approved by the Board.<p> Minimum five years? multimedia production or related experience is required<p> Effective verbal and written communication, interpersonal and strong computer and<p> Multimedia skills are required.<p> Ability to deal effectively with a variety of individuals and groups both within and outside the Board is required.<p> Must possess a valid Ontario Driver?s License and have access to own transportation.<p><p>Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Statement <p>The York Region District School Board (YRDSB) believes in giving each- LocationNewmarket, ON
