*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safe and efficient distribution of medications within a hospital or pharmacy setting. Your primary focus will be on providing excellent patient care while adhering to all relevant regulations and standards. *Responsibilities* * Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing and checking medications accurately and efficiently. * Maintain patient records, including medication administration and medical history. * Provide information to patients regarding their medications, including usage, side effects, and storage instructions. * Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and medication management. * Manage inventory levels of medications and supplies, placing orders as necessary. * Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and policies. * Perform routine administrative tasks such as filing, answering phones, and managing prescription requests. *Experience* * Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital or retail environment is preferred. * Familiarity with medical terminology and medication administration processes is highly desirable. * Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is a plus but not required for entry-level candidates willing to pursue certification upon hiring.
