Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs. Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware. Supervise other workers. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Handling heavy loads. Large workload. Physically demanding. Tight deadlines.
