Overview: We are seeking a detail oriented, dedicated, professional Medical Office Assistant to join our Rheumatology team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a Medical office setting and possess strong administrative and interpersonal skills as well as a genuine interest in contributing to the care of our patients. Responsibilities: - Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner - Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries - Maintain electronic medical records with accuracy and confidentiality - Assist with billing processes - Handle front desk duties efficiently to ensure the smooth operation of the office - Coordinate communication between patients, healthcare providers, and staff Requirements: -Must be proficient in using Accuro or other EMR - Experience (2 plus years) in a medical or dental office environment - Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical records - Strong administrative skills with the ability to multitask effectively - Familiarity with phone systems and office equipment - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities -Resume with references required Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $20.00 per hour Benefits: * On-site parking Schedule: * Monday to Friday Education: * Secondary School (preferred) Experience: * Medical office: 2 years (preferred) Location: * Regina, SK S4R 2N3 (required) Work Location: In person Application deadline: 2024-11-30- LocationRegina, SK
