St. Albert Public Schools is currently recruiting a Part Time, Temporary, Educational Assistant 1 for work assignment at Elmer S. Gish School .More than 9000 students are enrolled in St. Albert Public Schools. From Preschool to Grade 12, our students learn and succeed in programs that are recognized for excellence and their focus on citizenship and sound values. Hours of Work: 17.5 hrs./week; 3.5 hrs./day; Monday-Friday; Part Time, Temporary<p>Hourly Rate: $21.98 per hour, as per the CUPE Collective AgreementSpecific Needs/Requirements for this position: Experience implementing positive behavior support plan strategies required<p> Experience implementing ILP and IPP goals<p> Verbal Intervention Training is an asset<p> Formal Post-Secondary training is preferred<p> Candidate must have strong skills in managing students behavior<p> Preferred candidates would have experience working with Division 1 & 2 students<p> Experience working with a multi-disciplinary team an asset<p> Experience working with students with various diverse learning and behavioural needs an asset <p>Applications, either written or electronic, must include documentation which describes: Highest level of formal education.<p> Professional certificates, trade certificates, etc.<p> Courses, seminars, specialized training.<p> Experience related to the position.<p> Other skills and abilities applicable to the position. <p>In accordance with the CUPE Collective Agreement, this position offers a comprehensive benefits package found under Alberta School Employee Benefit Plan. <p>All completed applications received by the deadline will be considered. <p>However, only short listed candidates will be contacted. <p>All new employees to St. Albert Public Schools are required to submit a recent (within 6 months), <p>clear Vulnerable/Criminal Record Check prior to commencement of employment.- LocationSt. Albert, AB
