<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p><strong>Overview:</strong> We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our dedicated team. This role is integral to maintaining our industrial facilities and ensuring the efficient operation of all electrical systems.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components.</li><li>Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.</li><li>Instruct and mentor apprentices in electrical practices and safety.</li><li>Maintain, repair, test, and install switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, and reactors.</li><li>Troubleshoot and maintain industrial electrical and electronic control systems, including motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries, and <span class="long-word">hydraulic/pneumatic</span> control systems.</li><li>Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep detailed maintenance records.</li><li>Interpret electrical code specifications and read blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical installations.</li><li>Maintain inventory of stored materials and ensure compliance with safety standards.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Education:</strong> Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience.</li><li><strong>Experience:</strong> 2 to 3 years in a similar role.</li><li><strong>Certifications:</strong> Industrial Electrician Trade Certification.</li></ul><p><strong>Skills and Personal Suitability:</strong></p><ul><li>Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.</li><li>Ability to distinguish between colors and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Strong organizational skills and efficient interpersonal skills.</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication abilities.</li><li>Flexibility, sound judgment, and the ability to work collaboratively as a team player.</li></ul><p><strong>Work Conditions:</strong></p><ul><li>Physically demanding with the ability to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods.</li><li>Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.</li><li>Overtime required.</li></ul></div>Company Description<div>Peel HR is one of the fastest growing HR companies in the GTA.
