So if you?re looking to do what you love, we could be a perfect match.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>* Night Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 9:45 PM to 6:30 AM</strong></p> <p><br></p><p><span><strong>Position Overview:</strong></span></p><p><span>Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Operations Coach is accountable for supervising and leading a high-performing team responsible for handling products safely, efficiently, and effectively as it moves through the facility. The Operations Coach executes daily and weekly operational plans to meet and exceed customer service requirements and is responsible for the motivation, training, and leadership of their team.</span></p><p><span><strong>Duties & Responsibilities:</strong></span></p><ul> <li><span>Monitor team member performance ensuring they are executing assigned tasks safely, accurately, and as scheduled</span></li> <li><span>Assigns work to team members taking into account available hours, skill sets, and other resources to ensure operational targets are met</span></li> <li><span>Mentor and build relationships with team members</span></li> <li><span>Coach, counsel, and train team members to ensure competence, as well as prepare them for future opportunities</span></li> <li><span>Set team members up for success; achieve or exceed key performance indicators, as well as safety, performance, and budget targets; record daily performance metrics</span></li> <li><span>Promote safety in the work environment and ensure all safety rules are followed</span></li> <li><span>Direct resolution to equipment issues (for example, replace failed equipment or contact Maintenance)</span></li> <li><span>Identify and assist in implementing process improvements</span></li> <li><span>Evaluate staffing needs to meet daily, weekly, and monthly volume swings</span></li> <li><span>Use Engineered Labour Standards and other systems to achieve all KPIs</span></li> <li><span>Perform other duties as required</span></li> </ul><p><span><strong>Qualification Standards:</strong></span></p><ul> <li><span>1-3 years of prior supervisory or team leader experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment</span></li> <li><span>Post-secondary education (an asset)</span></li> <li><span>Demonstrated team-building skills</span></li> <li><span>Ability to build rapport and trust with others</span></li> <li><span>Experience and willingness to mentor and coach others</span></li> <li><span>Analytical and troubleshooting skil
