Are you looking to grow your career in Business Development? We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, you will develop and support strategic accounts and key industrial segments to drive growth and profitability. You'll promote our full range of products and services, identify new market opportunities, and foster strong client relationships.Primary Responsibilities: Develop, strong list of targets strategic customers by building strategies and executing a define planManage and build strong relationships with clientsPromote all product verticals, strategic vendors and product lines to increase revenue and margin for any Source Atlantic branchIdentify product, service and solution opportunities with new customers, existing customers and new market segmentsHave an in-depth knowledge of the business and be able to create a solid value propositionDraft business proposals, negotiate with stakeholders, and stay on top of industry trendsCollaborate on contract drafting and support corporate initiativesReport and track activity in the CRM and hold regular meetings with management on progressKey Expectations:70% of time in front of clients while 20% planning and researching market segments and projects, 10% left for planning, skill development and meetingsDevelop sales plans for each client target to ensure revenue and margin growth Conduct monthly results assessments, target vs plansProvide monthly results assessments to Director of Sales on each account progress to plan.Assist Account Managers in revising action plans, as necessary, to stay on or ahead of plan for any cross over accountsCommunicate with the local sales and operation managers where opportunities will affect their teamsEnsure that all opportunities and new LEADS are logged through CRM support Ensure that all training requirements are completed Qualifications:Must have post-secondary education or equivalent experienceExcellent communication and interpersonal skills are required;Bilingualism in English & French would be considered an assetMust be proactive, motivated, professional and a self-starter;Previous Sales Experience or Business Development would be an asset but is not required;Ability to work in a high performance, fast-paced team environment;Computer literate, with knowledge of Microsoft Office;Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills;In return for the above, we are offering a permanent position on an established team in a great working environment.All full-time positions offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:Competitive Pay Scale with commission;Vehicle and travel expenses will be covered;Flexible Health, Drug and Dental Plan;Matching Contribution Retirement Savings Plan;Life and Disability Insurance Options;Confidential Employee Assistance Program;Service Awards Program;Enhanced Vacation Entitlement;Physical Fitness Refund PlanSource Atlantic is an equal opportunity employer.
