Join Our Team at Shepherd's! Position: Cashier Are you the go-to person? Do you excel in environments where your problem-solving skills shine? If you're passionate about delivering top-notch customer service, we want you to join our team as a Cashier at Shepherd's Retail Store! As the friendly and welcoming face of Shepherd's, you will: - Ensure that all customers receive excellent, prompt, and courteous service. - Warmly welcome each customer into the store. - Process transactions efficiently. - Maintain knowledge of company policies, current sales, promotions, and pricing. - Assist customers by providing information and overcoming challenges. - Answer and/or direct telephone inquiries. - Prepare merchandise for display (unpack, steam, and change hangers). - Maintain a vigilant eye on loss prevention. - Assist with general housekeeping and physical stock taking. In this role, you'll also be our in-house expert. Our team may not be tech-savvy, so you will be invaluable in navigating any challenges that arise. As our ideal candidate, you: - Have an enthusiastic attitude in person and on the telephone. - Present yourself in a professional manner at all times in attitude, demeanor, and appearance. - Are available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. - Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. - Can stand and walk for long periods and lift up to 25lbs. - Are comfortable and proficient in basic computer skills, with experience using Apple/Mac technology.
