Responsibilities: -Provide and support a safe work environment.-Update STAR Site # and coordinate STARS when necessary.-Keeping an accurate headcount at all times by signing people in and out.-Maintain confidential patient medical documentation and reports as per legislation.-Engaging in daily safety meeting with crew.-Working alone for 12 hr shift in a Mobile Treatment Centre.-Maintaining cleanliness of Mobile Treatment Centre at all times and maintaining medical supplies are current and in working condition.-Provide medical care in accordance within scope of practice.-Assist in the transportation of patients when necessary while ensuring their safety and comfort.-Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with medical practices and protocols.-Take responsible care to use safety and personal protective equipment as required by health and safety legislation and company polices and procedures. Skills:-Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.-Strong interpersonal skills with the ability demonstrate clear judgment in fast paced and stressful environment.-Excellent communication skills.-Must have confidence in medical skills within scope of practice.-Understanding of medical terminology to effectively communicate with STARS & EMS.-Ability to assist in heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring safe handling of patients and equipment.-Proficient in medication administration techniques, following all safety guidelines.-Excellent patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in all interactions.-Ability to establish priorities and to work independently.-Physically capable of working/driving in adverse weather environment/conditions. Job Requirements:-Valid Tickets (First Aid & CPR, H2S Alive, WHMIS, TDG, CSO)-Valid Class 4 or Class 5 Drivers License with a clean drivers abstract.-Drug and Alcohol Clearance.
