Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Pharmacy or drugstore. Tasks: Ensure the information on prescriptions is accurate. Maintain prescription records . Compound, package and label pharmaceutical products. Help with scheduling and workflow. Bill third party insurers. Compound oral solutions, ointments and creams. Maintain inventories of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products. Manage routine office functions including reception, telephone and booking appointments. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks. Attention to detail.
