Centura Atlantic is a leading distributor of flooring related products in Atlantic Canada. As part of a national company, Centura Atlantic offers a full line of items imported from around the world. Our focus is to achieve excellence in customer service. We are currently seeking motivated, high-energy candidates in our Dartmouth location for the position of our Order Desk. Our customer base consists of flooring retailers & contractors. Some place orders by telecommunication and others in person. We are looking for someone who is a "people person" and likes working in a fast paced environment. Both experience/interest in flooring, design and construction would be considered an asset. *Customer Service Representative* *Position: * * Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position will work closely with the sales staff as well as other departments. * Processing Sales Orders from inception to completion. * Developing and maintaining a strong relationship with existing customers. * Answering customer inquiries regarding stock availability and order status * Shift 8:30am to 5:00pm * *Qualifications:* * Must demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills. * The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to multi task, strong organizational skills and must be able to work as part of a team. * Must possess proper telephone etiquette, computer literacy and good math skills. * Experience in the flooring industry would be considered an asset.
