CUPE 1165-2 (Custodial/Maintenance) <p>Casual Custodians <p>Effective Immediately <p>Open to All <p> <p>Location : Parry Sound, ON<p><p>Sites: <p><p> Parry Sound Public School<p> Parry Sound Intermediate and High School<p><p>Summary: To ensure that the areas of the physical buildings and grounds of the facility are maintained in a condition of operating excellence, safety and cleanliness.<p>Requirements:<p>Perform duties and responsibilities on a day-to-day basis, as assigned, to ensure a clean, safe and healthy environment. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<p><p> Basic building maintenance (e.g. changing light bulbs, changing filters, etc.)<p> Grounds maintenance (e.g. grass cutting, snow shoveling, etc.)<p> Waste removal<p> Dust control<p> Glass and mirror cleaning<p> Sweeping<p> Mopping<p> Scrubbing<p> Vacuuming<p> Stripping and refinishing floors<p> Replenishing and maintaining an inventory of custodial supplies<p> Sterilizing and sanitizing fixtures and surfaces<p> Other related duties as assigned by your Facility Supervisor, Lead Custodian, Principal and/or designate.<p><p>Qualifications: <p><p> Secondary School Diploma or equivalent<p> Previous experience in building and grounds maintenance or custodial services would be considered an asset.<p><p>Hours of Work: Shifts vary between 6:30 AM to 11:30 PM and by site. Hours are on a call out basis and are not guaranteed.<p>Rate of Pay: $19.06/hour (inclusive of 4% vacation pay and 4% statutory holiday pay)<p> <p> <p>Interested Candidates: Please submit an updated resume and cover letter.
