Applications are now being accepted for the following:<p><p>Casual -School Secretary <p> <p>Living Sky School Division's 27 schools are located in 18 communities. Our schools include PreK-12, elementary, high schools, and alternate schools with a student population of over 5,000 students. Our diverse school population is reflected in a wide variety of programs that exist throughout the schools to meet the guidelines of the Saskatchewan Core Curriculum and local needs of the community.<p> <p><p>Summary of Position <p>The School Secretary provides expert administrative support including secretarial, financial management, reception and clerical duties to advance the needs of staff, students and parents.<p>As a School Secretary, you will be the hub of the school and will be responsible for directing the flow of activities and will play an integral role in the smooth and effective operation of the school including demonstrating the values of Living Sky School Division and your school community.<p>Qualifications <p><p> Graduate of Office Administration Certificate or Diploma program or a grade 12 education with 3-5 years? relevant experience<p> Intermediate to advanced level technical/computer skills (ie. Microsoft Suite)<p> Functional proficiency/experience with typical accounting software (ie. Quickbooks)<p> Valid driver?s license and clean driver?s abstract with access to a reliable vehicle<p><p>The Right Person will <p><p> be service focused and have the ability to make everyone feel welcome;<p> possess excellent communication skills;<p> be purpose-driven and an innovative problem-solver who can find solutions in the most effective way;<p> produce quality and timely results with an acute attention to detail;<p> show enthusiasm and thrive in a team environment; and<p> genuinely appreciate working with children and demonstrate patience, show empathy, and help make learning fun.<p> <p><p>Salary will be according to the CUPE Agreement.<p> <p>Our Division is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace that empowers all employees to reach their full potential and encourages applications from those who will contribute to the diversity of Living Sky School Division.
